Was pleasantly surprised to find that this is actually available to download through the iPlayer.  Now if only the BBC could do the same with it's other American shows...

Nerd alert.

Whilst watching an episode of Mad Men season 2 about a plane crash, I noticed that the music played in a Japanese restaurant scene was "Ue o muite aruko"* by Kyu Sakamoto. It was the only Japanese language song to reach the top of the US music charts. And Kyu Sakamoto was killed in a plane crash...

Do I win a prize?
